5 reasons to have a Mentor

The word “Mentor” is connected to everyone at some point in their lives. He is the person who guides you, supports you, and pushes you to do all the possible miracles. During childhood, we are mentored by our parents, teachers as adolescents, and co-workers in the workplace. But sometimes they get recognized, and sometimes not. Mentorship plays a vital role in our career growth.

A mentor stops you from re-inventing the wheel again. They share with you their life experience and learning. Of course, a mentor’s experience cannot be yours, but at least some pointers in the right direction would save you time and effort. In our culture, we also revere a coach or teacher, whose primary role is to point you in the right direction.
